Markland Anthony
Chief Operating Officer, Zoar Limited
Mr. Markland brings more than three decades of operational management experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He joined Zoar HK Limited, the Company’s Hong Kong operating subsidiary, as Chief Operating Officer in 2013, a role in which he drives operational excellence, global growth, and cross-departmental performance.
Before joining Zoar HK Limited, Mr. Markland served as Vice President, Operations, of Fung Shing Chemicals Limited, a Hong Kong–based pharmaceutical API trading company, from 2005 to 2012. Prior to that, he served as General Manager of SinoChem Trading Co., the pharmaceutical-trading subsidiary of the Chinese chemical conglomerate SinoChem Corporation, from 1997 to 2005. Before joining SinoChem, Mr. Markland was Operations Manager at Medico Asia Ltd., a Hong Kong–based pharmaceutical trading company.
Mr. Markland holds an M.B.A. from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a B.A. in Business and Marketing from Manchester Metropolitan University, United Kingdom.
